Two new workshops coming up in July.
1. Encaustics Basics. This general introduction which will give you the tools to make successful images using encaustic. Its suitable for beginners, as well as more experienced people. It’s a two day workshop on the 17th and 18th July. Especially designed for printmakers, it concentrates on encaustics and paper.
2. Encaustics Beyond the Frame. This is a more advanced course which requires a general working knowledge of fusing and working with wax. We will explore ways in which we can use encaustic to make three dimensional work, and to create real and implied texture.
