Workshop at Warringah Printmakers in Manly Vale.

Two new workshops coming up in July.

1. Encaustics Basics. This general introduction which will give you the tools to make successful images using encaustic. Its suitable for beginners, as well as more experienced people. It’s a two day workshop on the 17th and 18th July. Especially designed for printmakers, it concentrates on encaustics and paper.

2. Encaustics Beyond the Frame. This is a more advanced course which requires a general working knowledge of fusing and working with wax. We will explore ways in which we can use encaustic to make three dimensional work, and to create real and implied texture.

Encaustic Book Class with Angela Noble

Learn all about Encaustic Art with print. Your achievements in this class will be rewarded by making your very own hand bound piece of art! No prior experience or expensive materials are needed, this is a fantastic introduction workshop using printed papers, wax and stamping. Workshop at Baldessin Press

There are just a couple of spots left in my workshop at Baldessin Press on the 5th and 6th April. The workshop will deal with printmaking with wax, and will cover Encaustic collagraphs and wax monotypes. Should be a great weekend!

Also, the Newcastle Workshop in Encaustic Basics is now fully booked. I am starting a waiting list in case someone has to drop out.


Workshop at Newcastle Printmakers Workshop

Angela and I are running a workshop at Newcastle Printmakers Workshop in Exploring Encaustic on the 24th and 25th May.
It will be an exploration of encaustic techniques, and cover all the basics.

We are still in the process of constructing this blog, but we couldn't wait to tell you that our next workshop will be held on the South Coast of NSW, at Bega. We can accept 8 people, and we will both be teaching. The course will be run over the weekend of 29th November &1st December and you will have the opportunity to spend the following Monday working in the studio using our equipment under supervision if you wish.
