Today we constructed 3D forms using paper that had already been printed on.
We also worked into a plate that had previously been coated with texture paste which had dried. We then painted the board with encaustic paint and scraped back to reveal the texture underneath and the worked into the surface of the board using different methods.
This is the first time that Anthea and I have taught this workshop. We are very pleased the way it is going and will certainly present it again. Our group today was small but the students have responded very creatively.
